About MCGS
The core activities of our society are our semi regular monthly 'Society Evenings' where members are encouraged to perform solo and ensemble pieces, as well as participate in our guitar orchestra! Invited performers and knowledgeable speakers will also feature at some meetings. Visitors and guests are welcome to come along and enjoy the music at the meetings. Upon request we can also supply a competent classical guitarist for a special function should we receive an enquiry from the general public. (Contact andrewkerensky@hotmail.com)
The society intends to purchase music for the use of its members.
MCGS aims to attract members of all abilities from Middlesbrough and the rest of Teesside. We encourage players of any ability to come to our meetings where they will receive a warm welcome in an encouraging, uncompetitive relaxed environment.
